The MAGUS Lum VD500L LCD is a high-performance inverted fluorescence microscope designed for advanced cell biology, biomedical research, and live cell imaging. Equipped with the MAGUS CLM90 7.1MP monochrome digital camera, featuring a two-stage Peltier cooling module, it delivers exceptionally low noise and high-contrast fluorescence images even under minimal illumination. The high-speed USB3.0 interface ensures smooth live video streaming up to 133.8 fps, enabling precise monitoring of dynamic samples.

The included 4K LCD monitor transforms the microscope into a standalone imaging workstation, offering sharp, color-precise real-time visualization without the need for an external computer. Combined with MAGUS View software, the system provides advanced measurement tools, video and photo capture, on-screen annotation, and full camera control.

The optical system is based on infinity-corrected plan achromatic objectives optimized for brightfield, fluorescence, and phase contrast techniques. Energy-efficient 5W LEDs provide stable illumination without heating the sample and ensure a long service life of up to 50,000 hours. Fluorescence filters (DAPI, FITC, TRITC) enable high-quality work with a wide range of fluorochromes.

A turret phase contrast condenser with centering rings allows rapid switching between observation modes, while Köhler illumination ensures even field brightness and maximal resolution. The durable metal frame, ergonomic layout, and stable mechanical platform make this microscope suitable for intensive daily use in research and education.
