The PAL‑Moisture Moisture Refractometer (model 4573, Cat.No. 4573) from ATAGO is a compact, handheld device for fast moisture determination. It measures from 7.0 % to 100 % moisture content (g/100 g) with a resolution of 0.1 % and an accuracy of ±0.2 % (when tested with sucrose solution). Measurement takes about 3 seconds, using only 0.3 mL of sample (2–3 drops). Features automatic temperature compensation from 10 °C to 100 °C, powered by 2×AAA batteries, capable of up to 11,000 measurements, with IP65-rated protection, dimensions 55×31×109 mm, weight ~100 g
