The P8000‑T polarimeter is designed for high‑precision measurement of optical rotation, specific rotation, concentration (g/100 ml), and sugar content (°Z scale). With an integrated water‑bath system, it maintains sample temperature in the range of 8…35 °C, achieving an accuracy of ±0.003° (angle of rotation) and ±0.01 °Z (sugar scale). The measurement time is approximately 1 second, allowing for fast and efficient analyses. The measuring range is ±90° or ±259 °Z with a resolution of 0.001° / 0.01 °Z. The device uses an LED light source with a 589 nm filter and includes a temperature sensor inside the sample with 0.1 °C resolution and ±0.2 °C accuracy. It is operated via a 5.7‑inch TFT touchscreen and supports data export through USB, RS‑232, and Ethernet with LIMS compatibility. The polarimeter complies with GMP/GLP and international standards such as USP, Ph. Eur., and ICUMSA.
